Hot tubs, spas and whirlpool tubs are all words usually used to describe the same product. That product being a tub filled with warm water which pumps and circulated the water around the users whilst being seated. There are various different sizes and shapes with different functions. Such functions may include different types of jets used to pump out the water; some more powerful than others, some also pump air into the water, and some offer better massaging quality than others.
Modern hot tubs can be fitted with all types of gadgets such as sound systems, TV’s. DVD’s, lighting systems and control panels to tailor the water temperature, massage functions etc.
Popular spas are usually one piece, making then cheaper to produce and easier to install.
These kinds of tubs are also referred to as Jacuzzi or Whirlpool tubs, but these are brand names.
